Hello? Santa?

Where does Christmas come before Thanksgiving?

In the dictionary, duh!

Santaspeaking.com is a fun little site for anyone with kids - or are kids at heart. Santa and Mrs. Claus blog about getting ready for the Big Day, kids can log in at noon, December 24th and watch live video of Santa taking off at the North Pole to begin his trek, check out Santa's very favourite recipes, or have him give you a call.

It's pretty sweet and for my part, I'm digging the fact that Santa's gone high-tech.

Just a little Christmas quickie post. Happy holidays everyone!

Ahhh Punk.

Photo Credit: Andy RosenTotally going to show my age with this post but these photos are too awesome not to share.

London Punks by Andy Rosen- 1976-1984

I don't really know who Andy Rosen is, but apparently he got to spend time taking cool photos of some of the best original punk bands (though I'm not quite sure how Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran qualify. I loved me some Duran but never thought of them as punk. But meh, semantics. They're beautiful shots anyway.)

Pix include Siouxsie, Johnny Rotten, Bauhaus, and a bunch of Live Clash shots.

Now pardon me while I take my leather and creepers out of the mothballs and wax nostalgic :)

Nifty little tool

Ok all you technopeeps looking for new tune-age to rock your iPods with - check out this spanky little tool from the Music Genome Project - it's called "Pandora" and it will help you find similar music to stuff you already love.

I'm a big fan of Placebo - the coolest band no one around here has ever heard of - so I plugged them into Pandora and found I could check out music from bands such as 30 Seconds to Mars, Inhabited, The Style Council and Panic at the Disco. Their sounds are remarkably similar to my boys and I'm finding this is a cool way to get to know other artists.

Give it a go. See what you think.
